“In 2009 I bought my first horse, a chestnut Arabian purebred, and the following year I established my own stable, which soon became an Equestrian Tourism Centre. But I dream big, so I decided to become a rider and a horse-riding instructor: in 2018 I got a 1st level certification (1° Grado) both for Olympic equestrian disciplines and Endurance riding and in 2019 I became a 1st level FISE (Federazione Italiana Sport Equestri – Equestrian sports Italian federation) horse riding instructor.“
In 2019 the first filly born at Maurizio’s horse breeding farm, Sakè Icaro, a grey Arabian purebred who was born in 2013, started her career in Endurance riding and, since then, she’s been achieving great results. Maurizio, then, decided to make his way in the amazing world of Endurance riding competitions and, in 2020, he got his Tecnico di Endurance di II° livello certification (2nd level Endurance riding certification for Technical Delegates).

Maurizio & Unika
There’s no better way to explain why we chose Maurizio to be part of our team than quoting his own words: “I met Unika’s team at a competition I was taking part in (I had friends in common with some members of the team) and I have immediately realised we could establish a collaboration based on reciprocal esteem, trust, dialogue and professionalism. Unika embodies everything I wish to give and pass down to my students and collaborators: great products that truly meet the needs of my horses and the ability to listen to both riders and horses, to understand their needs and provide great solutions and feedbacks to work on.”
